WEDNESDAY, JULY 29th - Onawa, Iowa
Greetings:
Today is a day of rest for both of us. We are in a very nice campground surrounded with 40 year old cottonwood trees. One of the owners stopped by and gave us some tomatoes and cucumbers out of her garden. Nothing like fresh vegetables for a good salad.
Tomorrow our plans are to drive down into Nebraska to the Stargetic Air & Space Museum in Ashland, Nebraska and then south to Beatrice, Neb. to the Homestead National Monument.
Other than some good relaxing time and dinner on the grill - that will be all for now.
